Along with other faith leaders, from many different religions, Rev. Christopher (seen here on the far left) signed his name to an important letter urging Utah state Governor Herbert to expand Medicaid which would provide Utah’s low-income citizens with the medical care they need.
This is not merely a political issue, this is a moral and ethical issue where everyone is affected. Medicaid expansion is an option that is provided by the federal government, but was denied by Gov. Herbert. Our efforts at the Medicaid Expansion rally at the capitol were to raise awareness of the issue and its impacts on Utah citizens and to urge the Governor to a right course of action toward the health and well being of our citizens.
